Poi is the art of swinging two chains or clubs around the body in a variety of moves, origionating from the Maori for 'ball-on' cord swung round the body. Traditionally used by the Maori to increase flexibility in the hands and arms as well as improving co-ordination. Our performers re-create this exiting visual display which can now be seen performed worldwide.



Whatever the performance it’s sure to be a breathtaking experience. Choreographed, freestyle, or as part of a package, all artists are fully insured to perform both inside and out of marquees, buildings or arenas. (Please check with the venue before booking) As an alternative we can provide light props which can create beautiful patterns without the use of fire (see glow poi).

Please remember for outdoor events, be aware of weather conditions. In strong winds for example the performance may be impractical for both performer and audience.

Performances are best when dark.
